Berber Rif Moroccan Pottery - Small
The Rif vessels are vintage and are created by the hands of the beautiful Berber women of the Riff Mountains of Morocco. All Rif pottery is made from local clay that can only be found in the Rif region and are delicately hand painted with geometric patterns using natural pigments before being put in an open fire, making each one unlike the next and entirely unique. Traditional uses include storage and transporting water or oils as well as preserving olives, dates, sugar, spices and much more. These days, these vessels are displayed around the world as a decorative, tribal works of art in your home, villa, Air bnb and the like.
